Bridesmaids and how to ask them!

Posted on

Bridesmaids can be a good experience or a very bad experience. For me it was good (very good). I knew who I wanted to ask before I even got engaged.

Of course first things first my beautiful sister, I was bridesmaid (cheif I may add) at her wedding and we are very close so this was a no brainer, as I mentioned before she is married so Maid of Honour, check! next is my adorable little niece who will be 3 at the wedding, what a perfect age for a flower girl (let’s just hope she doesn’t have a tantrum walking down the isle).

So the question I kept asking myself was how do I ask them, I didnt want to just ask them over a cup of tea in the house, so I decided to take my sister and niece for afternoon tea (civalised, I know).

I decided to buy them a few little gifts to make the occasion even more special, for my Sister I bought:

Cute tote bag

Cuter Toilet Bag

For my little flower girl, I thought long and hard and could not come up with anything, until I saw this:

and a lovely little book describing her day as a flower girl:

We Went for Afternoon Tea yesterday and had a wonderful time, we had a glass of Champagne when we arrived followed by a full afternoon tea, including sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream and a huge selection of mini cakes, I think we are all still recovering today.
